When Clara answers a call on your behalf, the conversation follows a natural flow designed to collect the information you need while keeping the caller comfortable.
The call flow
- Greeting — Clara introduces herself using your business name. For example: “Hi there, welcome to Roberts Plumbing. I’m the virtual assistant, how can I help you today?”
- Understanding the enquiry — Clara asks what the caller needs help with, letting them explain in their own words.
- Collecting details — depending on your setup, Clara will ask for the caller’s name, phone number, location, and any other details relevant to your trade.
- Closing — Clara confirms the details and lets the caller know you’ll be in touch.
What you receive
After every call, you get:
- A summary — a short paragraph describing what the caller needs
- Caller details — name, phone number, and location
- Full transcript — the complete conversation, word for word
- Urgency indicator — so you can prioritise callbacks
How long do calls last?
Most calls are between 60 and 90 seconds. Clara is designed to be efficient without feeling rushed.
